Project Description
Based on request from Government of Sri Lanka, Government of India agreed to undertake Project for construction of Cultural Centre at Jaffna. The Project involves construction of a Centre comprising a theatre style auditorium (with projection facilities) with capacity of 600 people, a multimedia library with online research facilities, exhibition and gallery space and a museum. It would also have an instructional wing for training in various arts, a language lab and a conference hall-cum-seminar room.
